Bruce Lyons leads our asset management and receivership division. His commercial real estate career is highlighted by 40 years of experience with over a decade concentrated on distressed assets. Prior to joining Crossman & Company, Bruce was Executive Vice President and Chief Operating Office of Capitol Investment Associates Corp. For 16 years, he was responsible for the acquisition, management, leasing, marketing and disposition of all investment and development projects and directed the firm's operations.

 

Asset Management

Crossman & Company maximizes value for banks and financial institutions through strategic planning, financial analysis, REO disposition, property repositioning, and construction management. We are currently representing several banks and institutional clients in Florida and the Southeast. Bruce Lyons serves as asset manager for several of our clients including numerous bank-owned properties. In 2010, GE Capital foreclosed on a 124,057 square-foot shopping center - Water Tower Shoppes in Celebration, Florida - and appointed Crossman & Company to handle the leasing and management. Bruce is also the asset manager for South Wind Plaza, a 120,000 square-foot retail center in West Palm Beach, Florida.

 

Receivership

Our team generates detailed property takeover plans, enables stabilization, and oversees financial management for institutions. Our staff of professional accountants prepare systematic analysis to satisfy court and institutional requirements. Crossman & Company has completed or is currently working on receivership assignments for LNR Partners, Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, GE Capital, and Mutual of New York; and has a long history of working with institutional clients. Bruce Lyons is currently the court-appointed receiver of several properties including Ocean Walk Shoppes, a 110,000 square-foot entertainment complex in Daytona Beach, Florida.
