Crossman & Company opens Tampa office

Tampa, Fla. – Crossman & Company, the Orlando-based real estate firm, is excited to announce the opening of its fourth office, which will be located in Tampa, Florida.

The new Tampa office is located at 9950 Princess Palm Avenue, Suite 340, Tampa FL 33619, south of Florida State Road 574.

Crossman & Company has grown to more than 20 million square feet of retail space under leasing or management throughout six states in the Southeast, with offices in Atlanta, Boca Raton, Orlando and now Tampa. The firm provides services in leasing, management, receivership, marketing, consulting and investment sales for retail properties.

retail broker best practices to real estate professionals from around the world as part of RECon 2015, the global convention for the shopping center industry.

Thompson will serve as a panelist at the conference’s Broker-ology: Retail Broker Best Practices, alongside David Lapierre, Executive Vice President of CBRE; Andy Misiaveg, Partner with The Shopping Center Group; Joanne Podell, Vice Chairman of Retail Brokerage with Cushman & Wakefield; and Jeff Roseman, Executive Vice President and Principal with Newmark Grubb Knight Frank. Crossman & Company President, John Crossman, CCIM, CRX will be moderating this panel.

Thompson and his fellow panelists are some of the best brokers in the nation. They will speak about the proven principles of effective brokerage to attract and retain prospects, enhance client relationships, more effectively reach final agreements, and facilitate efficient resolution.

Crossman & Company Consulting Associate Thomas Bolen to moderate panel at RECon 2015

Thomas-BolenOrlando, Fla. – Crossman & Company Consulting Associate Thomas Bolen will moderate a panel discussion for real estate professionals from around the world as part of RECon 2015, the global convention for the shopping center industry.

Bolen will moderate the conference’s Successful Strategies to Attract and Retain Downtown Retailers, where the discussion will focus on how to identify and attract retailers to downtowns of all sizes, how to expedite the process to an executed lease, and how to help those retailers prosper and expand.

Panelists will include Kim Ellis, ICSC Trustee and Consultant; Bill Fulton, Kinder Institute for Urban Research Director; Carl L. Goertemoeller, ICSC Trustee and Senior Vice President of Real Estate for Macy’s, Inc.; Robert Stark, President and CEO of Stark Enterprises; and Nancy Whitworth, Director of Economic Development with the City of Greenville.

Shoppes of Aloma Welcomes Two New Tenants

Craig KatterfieldWINTER PARK, FL – Shoppes of Aloma welcomes two new tenants, Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men and Smoothie King, to the shopping center.  Founded in 2004 and now with more than 40 locations in seven states, Lady Jane’s Haircuts for Men opens its first store in Florida in the 1,273-square-foot space at Shoppes of Aloma, as a part of its expansion plan for growth in 10 states.

Shoppes of Aloma also welcomes Smoothie King to the center.  New Orleans-based Gold Sky LLC will open their first of five Smoothie King’s in June in the 880-square-foot space at Shoppes of Aloma.  Smoothie King currently has eight Central Florida locations with more than 1,000 across the U.S. To read more about Smoothie King’s expansion, please see the Orlando Business Journal article.
