Summary

The Property Administrator will provide support to the Regional Director of Property Management through a variety of administrative tasks, property management duties and other tasks as assigned.

Requirements

  • Experience in commercial real estate management, preferably retail
  • Acute attention to detail and accuracy, with strong administrative and clerical skills
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Ability to organize and manage multiple tasks while working in a fast-paced environment with varying deadlines
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
  • Secure in level of competence to learn property accounting and management software
  • A current valid driver’s license and personal automobile insurance
  • College degree preferred

General Responsibilities

• Answer phones calls and respond to voice messages in a timely manner
• Handle inbound and outbound mail including certified and express deliveries
• Drafting and sending general tenant and vendor correspondence as needed
• Review, code, and approve invoices
• Assist with vendor services to include obtaining and analyzing bids, collecting and reviewing contracts, lien wavers, assigning work orders, and maintaining an up-to-date vendor database
• Prioritize assignments and effectively solve emergencies as needed
• Assist in the collection of rent from tenants
• Prepare proposals and agreements with contractors
• Assisting with the day-to-day operations of a commercial portfolio
