ORLANDO, FL – Crossman & Company would like to congratulate President John Crossman on receiving the YFCF Recognition Award during the 3rd Annual National Teen and Young Fatherhood Conference. The program was hosted by Young Fathers of Central Florida, Mims Construction and ONXY magazine.
Mr. Crossman received this award for his tremendous work in the community, especially in the areas of education and mentoring for historically black colleges and universities. Crossman’s father, Reverend Kenneth Crossman, was a pastor and an active leader in the civil rights movement. There is an endowed scholarship in Rev. Crossman’s memory at Bethune-Cookman University.
John Crossman, CRX, CCIM notes, “Our goal is to increase the opportunities for students at historically black colleges and universities to pursue a career in real estate.”
This is the second award that Mr. Crossman has received for his efforts to promote real estate being taught in all historically black colleges and universities. Last fall, Crossman received the Underground Railroad Award from the U.S. House of Representatives in Washington D.C.
