Crossman & Company HBCU Real Estate Initiative

In July 2014, Crossman & Company proposed the “HBCU Real Estate Education Plan” to the White House and the Department
of Education spearheaded by John Crossman and Thomas Bolen. The two realized very few HBCU students are offered the
opportunity to study real estate as a business discipline. Therefore, the goal of this initiative is to encourage HBCUs to promote
the study of fundamental principles of real estate at a select group of HBCUs in the southeastern United States which will forever
impact the real estate industry.
