New Residential Construction Benefiting Lake Howell Area Retailers
CASSELBERRY, Fla. – New residential construction in the popular Lake Howell corridor is creating a demand for retail according to Crossman & Company, one of the Southeast’s largest retail leasing, property management and investment sales firms.
Howell Branch Corners, a 14,765-square foot open air center is a good example.
“There are new multifamily and single-family communities being built near by the center at the corner of County Road 436 and Howell Branch. The visibility and traffic county will only increase for Howell Branch Corners, already shadow-anchored by Publix, TJ Maxx, Ross and Stein Mart,” said Crossman & Company Associate Rochelle DuBrule.
A residential community with 250 town homes and 458 single-family houses is slated for Howell Branch Road. A 300-unit apartment community is on the drawing board and Allegro Senior Living is also under construction near the center.
“Landlords see an opportunity in new tenants. And retailers are aware of potential new customers and clients being close to their shops and offices. The area around Lake Howell is undergoing some population increases that benefit both,” noted Crossman & Company President John Crossman.
